Dental Crowns & Bridges

We are pleased to offer a variety of Restorative Dentistry Services to our patients.

Dental Crowns

A crown is an aesthetic covering or a tooth-shaped “cap” that is placed over another tooth or implant to provide it stability. Crowns are generally used to improve the strength or appearance of teeth. When a large cavity threatens the ongoing health of a tooth, a crown is a good option. Crowns are also used to restore the shape and size of chipped or damaged teeth. They are typically bonded to the tooth using dental cement.

We offer a wide variety in dental crowns and ensure you receive the best possible dental care from the minute you walk through our doors.

When is a dental crown required?

You might need a crown for any of the following circumstances:

  • To cover discolored or misshapen teeth
  • To support a tooth with a large filling
  • To cover a dental implant
  • To support a worn out, cracked or broken tooth

There are several types of Dental Crowns to choose from

In our office we offer several options of different materials for Dental Crowns. We offer porcelain, gold and semi-precious, Lava and Bruxir crowns, and Zirconia crown materials.

We are Proud to Offer Same Day Crowns!

Get your new dental crown in a single visit! Save time and get a perfect fitting, affordable dental crown placed.

If you have been through the traditional process before, you know how much time and inconvenience was involved with getting a new dental crown. With one-visit crown technology, you can have your new crown made and fitted during one visit to our office. No uncomfortable molds are needed, no fitting of a temporary crown – just a quick scan to create 3D images of your tooth and the system can create your new crown in about one hour.

The same-day crown system uses advanced imagery to create the digital mold of your tooth. This is sent to the milling machine that uses the image to create a beautiful, new ceramic dental crown that matches your tooth color. Once the crown is made, we will place it on your tooth and check to ensure it fits perfectly into your bite. If needed, small changes can be made to the crown to get the right fit. Once it is the right fit, the crown is bonded to your tooth, and the surface is polished. You will walk out with your new crown in place without needing a second visit.

How Do Same-Day Crowns Work?

You no longer have to wait for a permanent crown to be fabricated by a lab and shipped back to your dentist’s office. We use state-of-the-art technology to create your customized crown right in our office so that you can walk out with your dental work complete.

The E4D system is a CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design & Manufacturing) machine. It’s a laser scanner, design center, and 3D milling machine all in one.

The process of creating your crown is simple. First, a digital scan of your teeth is taken and sent to the computer. Then the milling machine uses the image to create your custom-made permanent crown in mere minutes.

Benefits of Same-Day Crowns

Eliminate hassle: A traditional crown procedure requires preparation of the teeth, placement of a temporary crown, waiting for your permanent crown to arrive, returning to have the temporary crown removed, and finally, having your new crown bonded to your tooth. A same-day crown allows you to leave the office with your permanent crown after a single appointment.

Customized treatment: Your new crown is created to match the shape of your teeth and desired shade of white. Laser technology scans the exact dimensions of your teeth to ensure a perfect fit and a natural look.

Strong and durable: The porcelain crowns created by the E4D system are on par with traditional lab-made crowns in strength. With proper dental hygiene, your new crown can last for years.

Dental Bridges

Dental bridges are false permanent teeth that are used for filling dental gaps caused by missing teeth. They are usually anchored to the adjacent healthy teeth with cement and resin or metal bands. There are three types of dental bridges – fixed, cantilever, and resin bonded. The quality of the teeth, position of the dental gap, and condition of the teeth at the two sides of the gap decide which type of dental bridge is suitable to replace the missing teeth.

Different types of dental bridges are available in a wide budget range. As it is a safe way to substitute replacement tooth for a better denture profile, convenience, appropriateness, and proper fittings are essential pre-requisites for quality bridge fitting. The cost of dental bridges may therefore vary depending on the material, position of the bridge placement, etc.
